I don't think you're ready for this Shelly
I’m a girl who wears many hats:
By day I am a Marketing Guru, College Professor, and Financial Coach.
*Cue music: Everyday I’m hustlin’*.
During these times, I must speak proper English and display some home training.
But at some point we all like to let our hair down. And this blog is one of the places I do that. It’s the Sasha Fierce to my corporate Beyonce. The BET to my CNN. She has opinions and is not afraid to use them. She got jokes and isn’t afraid to tell them. Her milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.
I navigate through the Fortune 500 during the day, and perform sassy poems at night. I don’t have split personality, but I do have a split consciousness. Like many young black professionals, I have two sides. I can go from the Boardroom to the Projects and feel comfortable in each. Each side of myself is authentically myself.
So when you see me in the streets, holla at a playa.
